Dakoda qualifies for U.S. Girls' Junior Golf Championship
Dakoda Dowd, the 13-year-old who gained some serious attention
by playing in an LPGA event in Orlando earlier this season,
qualified Tuesday for the U.S.
Girls' Junior Championship.
Koda, of Palm Harbor, Florida, scored an even-par 72 in a
sectional
qualifier at the Braelinn Golf Club. Dakoda holds one
of five spots in the July 17-22 event at the Carmel
Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.
Earlier this season, Dakoda won the Florida state title
in the 16- to 18-year-old division. Can this girl golf, or
can this girl golf?
