Dakoda Dowd's latest challenge: Kobe Bryant

Dakoda Dowd went up against the LPGA's best. Now, she's taking on Kobe Bryant. Two months after almost making the cut in the LPGA Ginn Open in tribute to her terminally ill mother, the 13-year-old prodigy and Florida state champion is a finalist for an ESPY award in the "Best Moment" category.

The "Best Moment" category is one of several where people can vote online at www.espys.tv.

The ESPYS, an Academy Awards-style show for sports, will be taped at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre on Wednesday, July 12 and televised on ESPN at 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 16.
